Brighton Dome Ensemble Laboratory
A 4-day Laboratory at Brighton Corn Exchange, October 2010.
We undertook an intensive 4-day version of our London Laboratory model to 10 Brighton-based actors as part of the Festival’s In Process / In Performance Season. Unlike our main productions, this The 4-day intensive therefore provided training and skills development free to professional actors who wished to further their skills and practice, and at the same time, contribute to the early stages of research & development for our production of The Last of The Lake.
Working alongside existing members of the company, the Brighton ensemble developed performance work that balanced text, movement and musicality in performance. During the process we explored sections of text, ideas and stimuli we are currently developing for The Last of The Lake.
